Award ceremony for the Stuttgart Lightweight Construction Prize

On September 19, 2024, the award ceremony for the Stuttgart Lightweight Construction Prize 2023 took place in the famous tent construction of the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart. The prizes were awarded by the director of the institute, Prof. Lucio Blandini, and the chairman of the association, Prof. Stefan Schäfer.
A total of 4 projects were awarded equal prizes from the numerous entries submitted:
- Vision Tower (Group 01), TU Darmstadt, KGBauko
- Vision Tower (Group 02), TU Darmstadt, KGBauko
- Hygro Design, University of Stuttgart, ITKE
- Shelwood, University of Stuttgart, ILEK
From the TU Darmstadt, supervised by the KGBauko Institute, a total of two teams were delighted to receive recognition. These were:
Vision Tower – Group 01
