Last year's graduates in civil and environmental engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt were honored at a graduation ceremony. The ceremony provided a worthy setting for looking back, looking ahead and recognition – and was accompanied by atmospheric music.

The reunion with former students of the geotechnical courses in the Bachelor's and Master's area enabled a valuable insight into their professional development as well as their future plans.

Special mention should be made of Mr. Johannes Otte , who graduated as the second-best student in his year. He is now continuing his academic career as a doctoral student at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering. We are very much looking forward to continuing our collaboration and to his scientific contributions in the coming years.
