As part of your studies, you must provide the English C1 certificate. You can prove this by successfully completing the “English for Civil Engineers II” module (41-21-0966) or by presenting a comparable certificate to the study office. International students can apply for the performance-based scholarship if they are in the final phase of their studies. Applications are possible twice a year, from 01 – 15 April and from 01 – 15 October.

Students design new rooms
The TU Darmstadt has a large number of buildings that are basically suitable for the implementation of the sponge city concept, i.e. to use water as efficiently as possible, to feed it into the natural water cycle as far as possible, and to at least mitigate the effects of heavy rainfall events.

The IPBU project “Design Built Cabin” was carried out this winter semester between Prof. Ulrich Knaack of the Institute of Structural Analysis and Design (ISM+D) at the TU Darmstadt and Prof. Lars Uwe Bleher, Emerging Design Technologies Department of the Faculty of Architecture at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Win a trip to Lisbon with the Unite! student video contest
The Unite! student video contest calls on all students of the Unite! partner universities to make short films (max. length 3 minutes) showing their everyday life as students and thus the diversity and interculturality that makes up the student body of Unite! and its nine partner universities. The film should shed light on the students' personal lives and habits, thus arousing curiosity about Unite! Application deadline is April 9, 2023.
